REMEMBER DRAGONFLY

幼い頃あんなに飛んでいた蜻蛉を、最近あまり見なくなりました。
私にとって蜻蛉は、もうそこにはない郷愁の象徴とも言えます。
この作品の背景に使われているのは、夕焼けと青空の写真です。
我々が蜻蛉を思い浮かべるとき、透明な羽根の向こう側には、
童謡『赤とんぼ』の「いつの日か負われて見た」夕焼けや、
松任谷由実が『守ってあげたい』で歌ったような
「息をころしてトンボを採った」遠い夏の青空が見えるのでは
ないでしょうか。

When I was a child, dragonflies filled the sky, fluttering effortlessly.
But now, their presence has faded, and I rarely see them anymore.
To me, dragonflies have become a symbol of nostalgia—something that once was but is no longer there.
