God of Wind , God of Thunder

風神が司る風は、恵みをもたらす一方で、災いを運ぶこともあります。 それがどちらになるかは、受け取る側の視点によります。
風はただ、そこにあるものを運ぶだけです。
コロナ禍を経て、私たちは「ただそこにある自然」との共生を改めて考えさせられました。
この作品は、その気づきをきっかけに生まれました。
デザインは、以下の作品から引用しています。
・俵屋宗達「風神雷神図屏風」
・葛飾北斎「神奈川沖浪裏」
・歌川広重「日本橋 朝之景」

さらに、東京スカイツリーやレインボーブリッジ、日本橋麒麟像などの現代のランドマークを加えることで、このテーマが時代を超えて普遍的であることを表現しました。
また、風神と対をなす雷神のデザインには、次の作品を参考にしました。
・俵屋宗達「風神雷神図屏風」
・歌川国芳「相馬の古内裏」
・歌川広重「大はしあたけの夕立」
伝統と現代が交差するこの作品が、新たな視点をもたらすことを願っています。

​The wind god, who governs the movement of air, brings both blessings and disasters to the world. Whether it is seen as a gift or a calamity depends on the perspective of those who experience it. The wind itself simply carries what is already there.  
After experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic, we were reminded of the importance of coexisting with nature, which exists independently of human intentions. This artwork was created as a reflection of that realization.  
The design of the piece incorporates elements from:  
- "Wind God and Thunder God Screens" by Tawaraya Sotatsu  
- "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" by Katsushika Hokusai  
- "Morning View of Nihonbashi" by Utagawa Hiroshige  
Additionally, modern landmarks such as Tokyo Skytree, Rainbow Bridge, and the Kirin Statue at Nihonbashi are included to highlight the timeless nature of this theme.  
To represent the thunder god, the counterpart to the wind god, the artwork references:

- "Takiyasha the Witch and the Skeleton Specter" by Utagawa Kuniyoshi
